in a slightly tinny, flat voice, the phone plays: ]

I'm excited to find out what happens to her, too. Even if she's annoyed by it, I hope she can also find wonders on her journey.

[ then they pause, cocking their head, before typing out an addition: ]

I know you want to see things through with me first. It's okay to be nervous about that. It's okay to be sad that our adventure will finally be over, too. As long as you have no regrets in how you end my story, I'll be satisfied.
